Capilla Flamenca - Canticum Canticorum
Un des ensembles vocaux les plus prestigieux dans l’interprétation de l’Ecole franco-flamande, la Capilla Flamenca rayonne depuis nos régions sur l’ensemble de l’Europe. Guillaume de Machaut, Roland de Lassus, Josquin des Prés sont quelques-uns de ses représentants les plus illustres.
La lumineuse poésie du Cantique des Cantiques sera révélée sur un mode polyphonique référent des XVe et XVIe siècles.
Capilla Flamenca - Canticum Canticorum
The choir capilla flamenca is counted amongst the most prestigious groups both in our region and throughout Europe. They are well known for their interpretation of the Flemisch-French school of which Guillaume de Machaut, Roland de Lassus, Josquin Desprez are some of the most illustrious composers. The enlightening poetry of the Song of Songs will be revealed in the 15th and 16th centuries.
Capilla Flamenca - Canticum Canticorum
Behorend tot de meest prestigieuze zangkoren voor de uitvoering van de Frans-Vlaamse School (Guillaume de Machaut, Orlando di Lasso, Josquin Desprez…) wil de Capilla Flamenca de polyfonie, als deel van ons gezamenlijk muzikaal erfgoed, over de hele wereld uitdragen.

Ouverture du Festival transfrontalier de carillon - Concert en plein air
Le carillon sera roi et soliste a la fois. Alfred Lesecq, maître-carillonneur, propose un voyage a travers les différents répertoires -locaux et plus lointains- de cet instrument de toutes et de tous, patrimoine majeur de nos cités. Prévoir des vêtements chauds !

The carillon will be both the « king » and the soloist. Alfred Lesecq, master of the carillon, proposes a review of the different repertoires, both local and foreign, played on this instrument which is so representative of our local heritage. Dress up warm !

De beiaard zal terzelfdertijd koning en solist zijn. meester-beiaardier Alfred Lesecq brengt verschillende composities, van Franse bodem en ver daarbuiten, op dit instrument dat zo typisch is voor onze Vlaamse steden. Warme kleding voorzien.

Comme chaque année, le partenariat des Jeudis de Saint-Eloi avec le Festival international d’Orgue en Flandre permet de rapprocher les deux côtés de la frontière. Jan Vermeire, titulaire de l’orgue de Notre-Dame des Dunes de Koksijde, et le trompettiste Alain de Rudder, professeur au Conservatoire d’Anvers et soliste de l’Orchestre des Champ-Elysées, rivalisent de virtuosité.

Organ and flaming trumpet!
Les Jeudis de Saint-Eloi and the Flanders International Organ Festival bring together both sides of the border. Jan Vermeire, organist of Our Lady of the Dunes Church in Koksijde and trumpet player Alain De Rudder, professor at the Antwerp Conservatory and soloist of the Orchestra of the Champs-Elysées, are renowned for their virtuosity.

Zoals elk jaar is er een grensoverschrijdende samenwerking tussen les Jeudis de St Eloi en het Internationale Orgelfestival Veurne-Westhoek. Jan Vermeire, organist-titularis van de Onze-Lieve-Vrouw ter Duinenkerk in Koksijde, en trompettist Alain De Rudder, professor aan het koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen en solo trompettist bij het Orchestre des Champs-Elysées, brengen een virtuoos muzikaal programma.

Louis-Marie Cordonnier, visage[s] d’un bâtisseur
L’exposition retrace l’œuvre d’un architecte prolifique, fervent défenseur des spécificités régionales. Qualifié d’« architecte des beffrois », il est aussi l’auteur de nombreuses églises et de monuments emblématiques tels que l’opéra de Lille, la nécropole nationale Notre-Dame de Lorette et l’Hôtel de Ville de Dunkerque.

This exhibition describes the work of an accomplished architect and firm defender of the regional heritage. Well-known as the « architect of belfries », he also designed numerous churches and monuments such as the Lille Opera House, the National Memorial of Our Lady of Lorette together with the Dunkirk town hall.

De tentoonstelling stelt de werken van een heel productieve, vurige verdediger van de regionale specificiteiten voor. Beroemde architect van belforten, hij heeft ook talrijke kerken en monumenten zoals de Nécropole Nationale de Notre-Dame de Lorette en het stadhuis Duinkerke getekend.
